A Watch, Guard or Patrol Agency is a company providing security services to protect individuals or property from harm, theft, or other unlawful activity.

License qualifications:
All applicants must be at least 25 years of age at the time of application and be a principal in the business. PI's & WGP's must pass the license examination. You are not eligible to hold a PI or WGP license if you are a holder of an employment agency license, or are a member of a partnership or an officer or a holder of any stock in a corporation or have any financial interest or participation in the control and management of any employment agency.

Experience Required:
The law requires every partner, officer or principal in a business to be licensed to conduct business, and one such individual in each business must provide proof of qualifying experience and pass the license examination.

Watch, Guard or Patrol Agency applicants must have at least two years of full-time security experience as a sheriff, police officer, security guard in a government agency or with a licensed PI or WGP;
OR 2 years of full-time equivalent position and experience acquired in a position where the primary duties were the performance of security guard duties;
OR 2 years experience supervising and reviewing the work of at least three people performing security services.

WGPA Exam Study & Tutoring Course

Company Name: Eris Security Solutions Inc.

1. Agreement Overview

By enrolling in or participating in our WGPA (Watch, Guard & Patrol Agency) Exam Study & Tutoring Course, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Course Policies.

This agreement is legally binding and applies to all students.

2. Course Participation & Student Responsibility

Students agree to:

Attend scheduled sessions on time
Act professionally and respectfully at all times
Follow all instructor guidelines and course structure
Take responsibility for their own learning and preparation
This is a tutoring and guidance course based on the NYS WGP study guide
Completion of this course does not guarantee license approval
Completion of this course does not guarantee passing the WGPA Exam.
Be responsible for meeting NYS licensing requirements
Complete all necessary applications independently, unless otherwise provided in the service package.
Complete all exams independently.

We reserve the right to remove any student who disrupts the learning environment.

3. Payments & Enrollment

Full payment of $300.00 is required Upon registration to secure enrollment unless otherwise stated
Enrollment is not guaranteed until payment is received
Payment secures your seat in the course

4. Attendance Policy

Students are responsible for attending all scheduled sessions
Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions
Students are expected to give at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule with no extra cost; Otherwise, Same-day cancellations without proper notice (a minimum of 24 hours) or lack of attendance (no call, no show) is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Failure of a reschedule notice (a minimum of 24 hours) and missed sessions may require additional payment.
Missed sessions are not guaranteed to be rescheduled
Missed sessions are non-refundable unless a course is canceled by Eris Security Solutions Inc. please check out our refund policy for more information.
If a class is postponed, students will be rescheduled

5. Refund Policy Acknowledgment

By enrolling, you acknowledge that:

All payments are generally non-refundable and non-transferable
Refunds are only considered if Eris Security Solutions Inc. cancels a course. Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days.
If a class is postponed, students will be rescheduled.
No refunds will be issued for missed classes, dissatisfaction, or exam failure as we do not guarantee passing exam results. Your success depends on your personal effort and external factors beyond our control.

6. Rescheduling & Course Changes

We reserve the right to:

Reschedule sessions due to instructor availability or unforeseen circumstances
Modify course structure, format (in-person/online), or schedule as needed

Students will be notified of any major changes.

7. Retake Policy & Service Provider Termination

If you do not pass the NYS exam, additional sessions are available:
- Group sessions: $50 each
- Private sessions: Custom pricing

The Service Provider may terminate the agreement immediately for non-payment, unsafe conditions, misrepresentation, or breach of this agreement.

8. Code of Conduct

Students must:

Maintain respectful behavior toward instructors and peers
Professional behavior is required at all times
Not engage in disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate conduct. Disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate conduct may result in removal without a refund
Not record, distribute, or share course content without permission

Violation may result in removal without refund.

9. Intellectual Property

All materials provided, including:

Study guides
Training materials
Presentations

are the property of Eris Security Solutions Inc. and may not be copied, shared, or resold.

10. No Guarantee of Results

By enrolling, you understand and agree:
